Connect Care applications for smartphones (Haiku) and iPads (Canto) support rapid charge recording for physicians who use Connect Care for professional billing documentation and/or claims submissions.

Unfortunately, instances have been discovered where the mobile billing function does not filter viewable claims to those of the currently signed-on user. The mobile filtering problem proves more complicated than any quick fix can solve. Epic is working on the problem.

A multi-stakeholder group has arrived at the difficult decision to turn off professional billing in Connect Care mobile applications (Haiku and Canto) until the charge filter problem is fixed. Full functionality remains in Hyperspace and no personalizations or existing submissions are affected.
